Welcome to Hereafter

So… it’s been a while.

I hope you’ve been holding up okay! Obviously 2020 has been… a year… and it hasn’t been easy on anybody. I’ll be honest, I was struggling with keeping a schedule for a while before the pandemic hit, and living in COVID World didn’t make it any easier. I’ve been putting some work into myself and getting by, but even beyond that, I found that I wrote myself into a corner with the main plot of this storyline. How do I write Lordon on Earth when Earth is like… this? I would stew over how to handle the next couple pages, find a new path to take, and within a few days I’d have to throw it all out because everything had changed again.

But to be honest, at some point not making the comic became way more stressful for me than the challenges of reflecting the state of the world. And I’m slowly trying to get things on track so I can update again, at least as regularly as I can.

I can’t promise that regular updates will resume right away. But I do have a special page planned for the coming weeks to celebrate 10 years since the comic launched. And hopefully that gives me the recharge I need to keep going until… the end.
