Struck
Well, based on Thursday’s comment section, everyone called this one! (Maybe it was obvious I wouldn’t turn one of my main characters to stone?) And a special shout-out to Dragonanzar, who noticed that the title of the previous comic was a major hint.
Unfortunately, this week was a busy one for me, and I won’t be able to get Thursday’s comic done in time. Sorry about that! New comic on Monday, promise! The next comic will be a little follow-up to this one before moving on to other things. I’ve got more plans for Medusa, but I’m a bit worried about making the comic too Greek-heavy at the expense of other pantheons, so I may let that sit for a little while. Opinions, anyone?
Other Things:
The comic has been added to Just the First Frame, a great site that showcases the first panel from various webcomics as they update. Give the site a look – you may find a bunch of new favourites. 🙂
I’ve signed up with Tumblr, where I’ll be linking all further comic updates as well. Just another way to follow/share the comic if you’re interested!
You may notice some little buttons at the bottom left of the page (under the tags). I’ve signed up with a few comic listing sites, so if you have a minute, please give me a quick vote/rating. Thanks! 😀
I guess he doesn’t know about the ones his Followers have erected all over the world…. and those that are used “in memoriam” in various other places (like the one underwater at the Key Largo National Marine Sanctuary; it’s a tourist spot for SCUBA divers).
Well, he’s a humble kind of guy. 😉
The “Christ of the Abyss” statue is definitely a cool one! If anyone else is interested, here’s a link to some info: http://www.keyshistory.org/artchristofthedeep.html
p.s: anyone trying to vote for the comic on TopWebComics.com won’t get anywhere. The site went 404 for some reason. (If you don’t know what I mean, go here: http://ketira.net/ack )
ok, who saw that coming? *raise hand*
eight snakes, eight different surprised expressions…had to have been a pain in the neck to draw that one!
I had some fun with it, actually! (And I might have drawn more, if only I had more time.)
For a great reference to other gods, try the White Wolf ‘Scion’ game. Great for functional templates on how a dozen deities from different pantheons work. Best ones: Loki of the Æsir, Tezcatlipoca of the Aztlanti, and Baron Samedhi of the Loa…
