Heck, I think the real Jesus would take less offense at a hardcore “jesus” porn”, than the “passion of christ” … that film was everything he was against.
This whole thing reminds me that I ought to see the documentary called “Jesus Camp” soon, I’ve heard it’s controversial .. but … how can it possibly be worse than “the Passion of Christ” ?
I guess I just have to sit down and see it.
I think if Jesus saw Jesus camp he would die inside and require further resurrection. Emotional child abuse is bad enough but doing it while thinking he’d specifically be happy with that sort of thing and it’s the right thing to do…? I wouldn’t be happy if someone did that at all, especially not saying or feeling it was something I felt should/had to happen. It’s freaking creepy. Just like I think the Jesus here would find some of his more extreme followers.
I’ve only seen the odd clip here and there but just descriptions of it make me feel ill.
