Soooo hey.
I’m very sorry to miss one more deadline. It’s just been one of those weeks where I flat-out didn’t have enough time, and even though I had to take last week off as well, I felt it was better to delay this page until Monday rather than put out something rushed and lousy. So instead, here’s a photo of my cluttered drawing table, with the next comic in progress.
Thanks so much for your patience! It’s been an odd month so far to say the least, but things are gonna get back on track soon, I assure you. New page on Monday! I’ll make sure it’s a good one. 😀
Deadline? what deadline? You take as long as you need to. Anyone who thinks they have a right to demand regular, scheduled artwork without paying commission is just crazy, and there’s absolutely no reason to apologize to the crazies.
Ha! Well, the deadlines (and most of the pressure) come from myself, so maybe I’m the real crazy here.
That’s actually not a surprise at all.
… you draw on paper ?
Craaaaaazy!
I haven’t quite made the leap to digital yet! Working on paper just feels “right” to me, I guess?
Craaaazy! 😀
Aw, don’t sweat it, I’m just teasing.
If you prefer it, keep doing it.
That’s how flexible art is.
Zero sweat, I assure you!
I’ve wanted to properly try out digital for a while, but I just really like doing things traditional. And having a bunch of physical portfolios full of comic pages is kind of a nice feeling.
All forms are equally valid, of course, but this works for me. 🙂
