I think in the final panel, Athena pretty much sums up the primary reason why I love this webcomic. Despite the precarious choice of characters (Gods from various faiths that may take varying degrees of offense to it), it doesn’t take itself too seriously. …or seriously at all. These gods poke as much fun at themselves as they do each other, and it’s amazing. It makes Lordon seem like an overall swell guy instead of a monstrous entity to be feared because he will strike you down if you step even the slightest bit out of line.
I realise how those last words can be taken, but I assure you all I mean no offense to any religious readers with this comment.
