Today Lordon R. God writes a letter to Duck Dynasty star Phil Robertson, in response to a little “story” he told recently (note: link is not safe for non-psychotic minds).
I try not to get too political/real-lifey here in the Welcome to Hereafter studio dirigible [citation needed], but this I couldn’t resist. It’s an extra quick one I scrawled out on a coffee break at work, and to make sure it’s extra topical I’m putting it up right now. I’ll update with a better-quality scan once I have a chance.
Next regular comic will be up on Monday!
Oh, wow. I don’t know the first thing about Duck Dynasty other than that it apparently features some pretty extreme people, and after reading that story I think I best steer clear of it.
I’m glad you don’t get too political usually (as a non-American who doesn’t watch as much news as she would like, I wouldn’t get half the references), but I think that when it’s a political issue wherein one party uses religion to justify their bigoted views, Lordon is the best webcomic character to turn to for criticism.
I’m not a fan of the old testament, but the greatest peril of Lordon out of the company is that he can’t use his reset button to annihilate things… towns, races or radio casts, or that minute when read that damn article.
Nah..I was just happier not knowing about that imaginative story.
But he does care about the sick even if he is not in charge of the multiverse anymore and that makes him sympathetic.
